I acquired a 20g Tradegun this weekend. It was built by Ken Gahagan about a dozen years ago. I spied this gun on Art Riser's blog a couple of years ago and always liked it. When I got the opportunity to add this gun to my collection this past weekend, I was elated. There is a lot to like about this simple gun and as I continue to admire it, I appreciate it more and more.

I’m not a trade gun guy but I really like this. Ken has that touch. Can’t explain that touch but very few makers possess it. You know it when you see or touch it.
Good find old buddy!!

Cool beans man. Not alot of trade guns by gahagan around. How long is the barrel?
-
Extremely cool. Of course, not as cool as this spectacular bear pistol I have here with a brass plate and brass rib... ;D

I liked that rooster carved gun Ken Gahagan had a the CLA show. I am a sucker for folk art animal imagery. Ken
