Ken Gahagan Tradegun
« on: May 24, 2023, 12:30:49 AM »
I acquired a 20g Tradegun this weekend.  It was built by Ken Gahagan about a dozen years ago.  I spied this gun on Art Riser's blog a couple of years ago and always liked it.  When I got the opportunity to add this gun to my collection this past weekend, I was elated.  There is a lot to like about this simple gun and as I continue to admire it, I appreciate it more and more.

I’m not a trade gun guy but I really like this. Ken has that touch. Can’t explain that touch but very few makers possess it. You know it when you see or touch it.

Extremely cool.  Of course, not as cool as this spectacular bear pistol I have here with a brass plate and brass rib...  ;D

You got a really cool snag on that one Dave. Did it come from Wyoming?

I had little to no interest at all in trade guns, until I saw this one.....  Super cool.

I didn't see a picture of the butt plate.  Is it nailed on or screws.  Thanks.
