A thin blade on a bandsaw is great for going around curves. But you can't tension it much, which means if your guides aren't well set up, the cut can wander on the bottom side of the stock. How do I know?
But now I have Dave Rase inlet my barrels and drill the RR hole. He's my part-time apprentice. He also 'nails it' for rr hole location. If I want the hole a little off to the sideplate of the stock, by Jingo!, there it is. Good Dave. In seven years, you may open your own shop.
