I got to hold this one in my hands, last weekend.  A beautiful rifle.

This rifle was shown at the 2011 Las Vegas Winter Gun and Knife Show by a dealer. I looked it over closely before deciding that it was indeed old. It is that good. I thought of buying it, but it's a a little too new for my tastes, I told myself. Yikes, what was I thinking? At the least it would be excellent trade material. I did contact a well known Indiana collector who apparently did not buy it either. I understand that it is now in the hands of a Burson descendent, which is as good an outcome as anyone could wish. The original ask on the gun was very, very reasonable, but by now I imagine that it has gone somewhat beyond that figure. Wonderful gun, hope that it will find a place on the wall in the ALR Library.
