David Rase sent this to me and we both thought it was a good book to list in our recent book forum. I am sure many of our members would be interested in owning this book. This book is available on Amazon.com as well as other book stores and websites.  (or directly from the author at link shown below) Below is David's description of this book.
Dennis

"I just received a copy of Colour Case Hardening of Firearms--Principles and Practices by John A. Seim.  This book explains both the theory and the basic practices that are used to case harden and color firearms parts. It will be of value to artisans making or restoring firearms. Chapters are laid out in the actual sequence used to case color parts. Additional chapters cover alternative finishing principles, such as patina application, products used to protect colored parts and on the subject of charcoal bluing.
