Tapered Ram rod

I just taper a rod on the bench with a small smoothing plane.  Only takes a few minutes.
Bit of sanding and done in no time.

I do use some coal oil at times, simply because a Dry rod Is more brittle.   No choking up needed in use.

Can someone post a picture of the cutters or a link to the youtube or maybe a name?  I have some cutters I might be able to modify if I can see an original. Thanks.
