STL area long rifle viewing suggestions
« on: November 21, 2024, 07:55:52 PM »
Are there any places to view original long rifles in or very near St. Louis, other than the Missouri History museum? I will have a couple of hours to kill there today while waiting for my brother to land on his plane. If there is no other place, I will happily go look around in the History museum again!

There is a Lewis & Clark Museum under the arch.  There is also a Lewis & Clark Boat Museum in St. Charles, and another Lewis & Clark Museum at Wood River, in Illinois, across the Mississippi River from St. Louis.

Hope this helps,

Thank you!! I am already at the Missouri History museum. I'll try to visit one of the others you list during my stay or on my drive back. Thanks!
