shuler rifles

I have a good friend who's name is Shuler.  I'd be interested in learning more about the Shuler-smithed guns with the idea of helping him build a replica.   Can anyone give me any leads to researching them and who/where might have usable components for such a project.

Reaves Goehring has nice brass components for Shuler rifles . He can be reached at 717 684-2022 .

Eric Armsrtong ( aka Daniel Russell ) is a wealth of information on Bucks County rifles.

Go see originals when you can. Dixon's Fair usually has a display case of various schools of gunmaking. Keep an eye on that display as the Fair gets closer. Only 192 days until Dixon's!

There's at least one in Kindig's, "Thoughts on the Kentucky Rifle in its Golden Age".  The one at Fort Ticonderoga was pictured here recently.
