They are really spot-on concerning English gun fit.
The .69 csl. Sporting Rifle Taylor built me in '86 fits this criteria to a tee.
The gun fits so well, that you can eyeball the centre spot on an 8" round plate at 50 yards, snap the rifle to your shoulder, pulling the trigger as the butt fits into your shoulder pocket and hit the plate, without ever looking through the sights as they are already centered on the plate.
That is a gun that fits. The Jaeger Taylor built is similar, but not quite.
The 1853 era Joseph Lang 16 bore Taylor has, fits the same as my 14 bore rifle.
It is difficult to describe just how perfectly they fit.
