Lost tutorial on stab carving
« on: April 25, 2018, 05:18:08 PM »
There is an outstanding tutorial on how to do stab carving, including how to make the right tools, that Acer posted a few years ago http://americanlongrifles.org/forum/index.php?topic=29820.0.  Unfortunately, Photo Bucket did it in by blocking the pictures.  Perhaps if someone out there saved it off in PDF they could send it to Dennis, and with Tom Curran's permission, he could repost.  This is the approach Dennis used to salvage the excellent four part carving tutorial done by Dave Price.  It would be great to have that stab carving tutorial available again.

Yes if anyone has "lost" tutorials in most any format I can more than likely display them in the Tutorial Forum. They will be put on ALR Disk space and should be protected for loss by any of the photo web sites.

That would be great! This site lost a valuable resource by the actions of photobucket!

Dennis,

I emailed two lost tutorials to you last night.  Another ALR member had saved them in PDF and sent them to me.  Please let me know if they don't come through.  Thanks.
