E. N. Bearden Rifle

I have an iron mounted rifle marked E. N. B. which has been attributed to E. N. Bearden by Jerry Noble and pictured in his Vol. 4  pg 94.  On the left side of the barrel, partially covered by the edge of the stock, (see top picture), is what appears to be the name Postley Nelson ???  Is anyone familiar with this name?

I have the remains of an old half-stock percussion rifle that has Postley stamped on a barrel flat at the muzzle.  It is .32 cal with 4 lands and grooves.  The rifling is still in great shape.

My rifle is full stocked, approx. 44 cal. with 7 grooves.

Try posting some pictures if you can. Not all of us have all four of Nobles' books.
