Have you seen the Judd Brennan rifle on the Blog ? (http://contemporarymakers.blogspot.com/)  Now that is my idea of the "golden age of the kentucky rifle"!! David Morton's rifles are great, but Brennan's version is just amazing. Take a look.

I'll second amazing. Beautiful mix of inlay and wood carving harmoneously done, don't know if I've seen this done so well before.

as one of the rankest amatures, I can only imagine making, or ever owning very few of the rifles shown on the blogspot.  That one is so intricate and amazing, it just makes me dizzy!
