the time is drawing near for the first meeting of the guild.i just returned from joes barn where we will be holding this.took over my portable craftsmen workmate that i revamped to hold a stock,plus joe has one and we have a nice bench and a few vices.will be taking over some more material to build another bench and add a few more lights.so far i know of 5-6 guys that will try to make the first meeting.anyone in the mid to northern part of ohio if you can make it you are more than welcome.we will be going over techniques and actully striving to get further on our current builds.practicing wire inlay and carving and engraving.i will supply the brass for engraving and inlay work.will try to do this once a month and if participation grows and fellas want to get together more often we will accomadate.will try to hold this when the log cabin is not holding thier gun building class.i dont want to miss any more of those...actually the majority rules on when we meet.i will contact interested parties and get a feel for everyones schedule and try to pick a date so that we have maxinum participation.BRING WHATEVER YOUR WORKING ON!!!

bill,i also had to work so we cancelled.....i will contact you when we can plan on another day....i have to go back on nights for a while at work to cover the third shift until we can hire a new guy.
