any input on this shotgun?

Supposedly liberated from a southern plantation during the Civil War.
Been in the famaily since then, now for sale.
I would like to know what you all think, and maybe what is a fair price.
Either silver or german silver appointments.
28 gauge with 14" length of pull.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what I'm seeing.  The barrels almost look black and the
rest of the hardware is shining.  I was at an auction on Sunday in Western PA and a Saxton
double barrel muzzle 12 gauge with 36" barrels with pieces of the forestock wood missing and very little
enraving went for $500.  I thought it was a $200 shotgun. 
We do need bigger pictures.
