I was looking at this a couple of days ago. I had to take a 2nd look, it struck me as odd. The signature is a little different than normal as is some of the hardware. For example, the spur on the trigger guard is not consistent with his usual work, also the butt plate at the heel. There were 3 styles of side plates that he normally used, the side plate on this piece is extremely different in form from the other 3 styles. The toe plate on the other hand is typical. The carving certainly appears to be his and the form of the cheek rest is correct. I think I would like to have this one in my hand before I bought it. I was wondering what the reserve was, he probably is thinking 5 digits.
