Langhorne Shoot a Success
« on: March 20, 2013, 08:11:29 PM »
Sunday's shoot at Langhorne was a success!  Temperatures were in the mid-30s, but there was no wind.  27 shooters were in attendance.  Mike and Patti Jarnukowski had a wide selection of targets available for just about all guns that fire black powder.  Most of us shot flinters, but there were a few sissy guns (Roger Fisher's expression for percussion guns) on the line as well as cartridge Sharps and a rolling block or two.  I didn't notice anyone shooting a smoothbore, although there may have been a few.

Prizes were ten pound hams and merchandise.  Roger Fisher, David Wright, and Moose Amos were the big winners.

Next shoot is Sunday, 21 April at Langhorne, in Bucks County, PA.
