Nothing can replace hand work.

What was once in everyman's hands has been willingly given over to the machinery in the name of efficiency. This means everything is cheap and affordable. A downside is that we have forgotten how to make things. As a society, we have lost our connection with the earth and ground from which everything springs.

Now only the rich can afford handmade.

Thank you Raz, for your excellent photo poetry essay on the wheel.

I'm moved - I miss the contact with people who think alike . I'm afraid to live and die - and be convinced that the lost time - such words , are important to me! . is important to me that you love people - what is in the depths of our soul is the most important!

Thank you guys

Hand work is truly a dying art form. Raszpla is a true artist and very gifted but well honed in his ability. With the amount of time and muscle fatigue involved in his work it really is all about the love. Well spoken Tom. And thanks Raszpla for sharing. Bob

Now it is time to slow down. Move carefully, thoughtfully.

Beautiful beyond words.

Keep going, my friend.

Nice spring mortice! Wow, the modern machinist is baffled.  :D

Is that spring for the selector switch to go from single to full auto?
