I like to make my parts, but the triggergard is so much work that next time I will bay a cast from blackley ;) It is made from 4 parts thick brass 4mm

  Having forged simple triggers from mild steel in one piece many times, I have to ask, why you choose the more complicated method of build a trigger from two pieces? I alway choose to build a part with no weld seam if that option is available.

It's a brass triggerguard. Can't weld or forge brass.

  I'm not referring to the trigger guard. I was talking about the actual trigger, that you show made from two pieces. Cold forging simple triggers out of 1/8th mild steel strap, is the first project I give new gun builders, that want to make some, or all, of their parts. Its so much easier than welding two pieces together, and is stronger as well.

The pistol have only one ramrodpipe, the original is cast but I make it the usual way. A old brass lampfoot work very nice for this :)

Belt hook made, I forget the thiknes og the hook and have to make a new rear lockscrew 5mm longer ???

Great craftsmanship!  Thanks for the great step by step-one classroom I don't mind being in.  A pistol was quite a ways down on my mental list of wanna-builds but......  Any of you guys take a deer with one?  What are they like to shoot?

Water based stain, danish oil finish. Yes, the holes in the stock is bark beetle I like it looks old hehe ;)
