Hacker Martin worked in what a lot of collectors call the Revival period. Generaly before muzzleloading became gererally popular in the 70's. His best stuff with his handmade locks and handcut barrels deserves high prices. The stuff he made late- in his declining years with poor eyesight- vastly less. Because of Hacker's importance, you may see his very best rifles in the 5 figure range. A crude late pistol may go for a couple hundred by someone buying the name. This is what I've seen.
