I know I have run across the answer to my question here before, but can't seem to find it in my site search. Anyway, I just bought a nice used Virginia style flintlock rifle with a lock marked on the inside plate with capital "R"s stamped back to back. The first R is backwards up against the proper R. I do not know how to type an R backwards on my keyboard. Does anyone know who this lock maker is?
