16 Bore long fowling piece.

An interpretation of a PA. smoothbore.  16 bore X 42"  Rayl tapered round bbl. with bess type ring at breech.  Twigg lock by our Bob Roller.  Sugar tree curl from gun stock plus.  Side opening box.  All brass trim, I made the side plate, funny site, inlays. 8 lb with web sling.  Comments always welcome.....Tom

Nice gun, I like round barrels, we don't use them enough when looking at historical examples. With what I've been building the last few years I consider 42" to be a carbine! ;)

I would like to build more round barrel guns, I agree they are under-used. I was also hoping to see a 50+ inch barrel when I saw the headline!
