6 Hours ago I received on Facebook a startling message.

Jim Franks canceled the event " Alvin C York Memorial Shoot"

IS THIS CORRECT OR DID SOMEONE HACK INTO JIM'S FACEBOOK ??

Neither. There was some kind of sna fu with posting. As of last night the York is still scheduled for April 2.They will get corrected info on line ASAP.

It was a good day for the Bevel Brothers. Lowell Gard took 1st place and won two matches. Joel Gard was 3rd.

Russ Moore was 2nd, Gary Test 4th, Mike Medjeski rounded out the top 5.

Dawn Swigart was the top shooter among the women, pretty sure she was in the top 10. Dave Krumme shot the wrong sighter target and that cost him 2.5" or he would have been in the top couple of shooters.

145 shooters in all, really nice weather, the wind was brutal in the 2nd relay and played havoc with a bunch of scores, mine included.

Hamburger for me.

Amazing - wish I was there.
Maybe some time in the future when my wife and I plan to visit friends in Virginia.

There were several shooters from Canada that shot the match . A lot of them took home a big package of meat. Come on down next year and enjoy the match.
