Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

If you are coming to Princeton and own a good Tennessee mountain rifle, bring it along.  There will be photographer there taking photos for an upcoming book on the subject.

Talked to Jerry last night.  He asked me to bring 3 of my Tenn. rifles for the guy to take pictures of.

It is at the Days Inn at Princeton, Ill. Contact Curt Johnson, Craig Johnson, or Jerry Noble. Starts as soon as you get there on Friday morning.

The Days Inn is at I-80 and Rt. 26 at Princeton. South of I-80 on the west side of RT. 26. Easy to find.

I had hoped to attend but will not be able to make it. It sounds like a nice show and a great way to meet some of the people from here face to face.

It opens Friday morning around nine and stays open as long as there are still people in the room. Sat it runs all day also but the crowd starts clearing out around two or so. A few of us old timers stay later. NO Sunday show.   JIM

It was a good time. JDM brought his 2 sons and I lost my "youngest man" position.

Just got back from Princeton.  Great show as always.  Always quality guns to look at and learn from and plenty of knowledgeable folks that are willing to share there thoughts with you.

The sad thing is their almost as old as you. Buck  you won best display!

I had a great time and saw some quality guns and Quality people. It was nice to meet  Mike Brooks. We've both been going to that show for twenty plus years and never met.

Gibster  The S.B. rifle we talked about . It came out of the Tenn. show in the early ninety's Vince Nolt had it.
