Barrel Welding

Another barrel forge welding session scheduled tomorrow and Saturday May 20 -21 at Heritage Farm Village Museum in Huntington, WV. Any one in the area, come out and have a look, we could use a hand on the bellows! We will be working in the traditional blacksmith shop at the farm and will probably be at the forge from about 7:30 am to 4:00 to 5:00 pm each day. Experimental archeaology, fun stuff. Last session we had a willing apprentice man the bellows and do a good job keeping the fire clean.
