Another reason to inlet the tang in sections - if you get cold feet and have ill feelings about your abilities you can simply stop there and cut it off, poke a screw in the end and tell everyone that is as far as she goes. Nobody will ever know the difference. ;D

But if'n you gots skill and desire (i.e. Ken Guy) then you can take her all the way!

They DO grow on ya don't they.  Kind of one of those things where you didn't really understand how bad you wanted one until you saw one!  Now have to have one!  ;D  @!*% - very pretty!

At the very beginning of the post you mentioned that you did a previous post on drawing out the tang.  Is that still on here, because I cannot find it.  I realize this is an old thread, but someone may know.

This mentions a post on drawing out the tang.  Where can that be found, I have not been able to find it.

It looks real nice.  If it turns out like your last rifle  it will be a nice one.
What cal?  what length barrel?
 My it looks like a Corn Patch reunion even the Boss showed up. Next time I will bring the corn whiskey.
