That's a beauty on the blog this morning.  Love the over the comb tang which is especially timely with my working on one right now.

Thanks,  The characteristics of the rifle came off an original I purchased a couple years ago.  Mountain rifles are close to my heart and I enjoy building ones like this one.  I originally made this rifle for me, but let someone talk me out of it a couple months ago.  I think I should have kept it at home.

That is a dandy little rifle - got to handle it at the Lake Cumberland show.  It has everything an East Tennessee rifle should have.

Mike, I use Chamber's late Ketland lock on my mountain rifles.  I just round the tail of the lock plate to get the shape I like.
