RCA #4 A question?
« on: January 05, 2017, 06:02:45 AM »
Hope this is the appropriate forum for this question.  If not, please move it.

This rifle has a single trigger but also has what looks like an adjustment screw such as you see on a sit trigger.  Would this be a single trigger set trigger on this rifle?

Hi Mike,
Yes, I think it is a single set trigger.  You can also see a large screw head near the rear of the trigger plate, which I suspect anchors the set trigger spring.

Would be interesting to be able to examine it dismounted from the rifle.  Noticed a few other early guns with the same screw arrangement but not many early guns attributed as made in America that had double set triggers.

Thanks for pointing out that additional screw.
