This sterling silver tobacco box is a commission that I recently finished and delivered at the 18th Century Artisan Show at Lewisburg PA this past weekend. It is a tribute to Gunmaker William Screckengost complete with his signature engraved on the side. All the engraved elements are taken from ole Williams work. The box is based on several 18th century examples ,measres a little over 3" across and is made from sterling silver. It was a fun and challenging piece to complete!!

Mitch's art took elements directly from a rifle and created this great box. So glad to have it. Thanks Mitch.

Mitch,
Extremely well done!
You have faithfully captured the essence and flair of his work.
Shreckmeister should be proud to have such a fine compliment to the original rifle these designs came from...Uncle Billie would be as well!
