Bag with London checkering

[James Rogers]

This is a flat sewn bag I just finished. It has an internal divider, die forged buckle and is decorated with fine London checkering done by hand with one of my 150 year old English tools.

 Like the shape and simplicity of the bag, the Checkering changes that, nice work. Is that done with a diagonal line to start?

Thanks guys. I don't have a pic of the tool handy at the moment but it's like a smooth version of a double line space checkering tool for wood.
Tim, yes I just eyeball a line on the cant and take off from there. More labor than skill and it activates my tendinitis : )
