Just another banded horn

A banded horn just completed for a customer to accompany his squirrel rifle. Had to keep the overall size within 12 inches along the curve and keep all the other features in the right proportion. Think I got it. The applied tip is turned moose antler and dyed using tea. The base plug was turned from walnut and is hollowed.
Note the one pic that has it's mate, a left side carry, and has already that golden yellow color that indicates it's age.

Gary,
Very nice! Anyone would be proud to own that horn. I never turned antler before, is it about the same as turning wood? I like the color all around. Great work.

Wow Gary, that is a nice looking horn everything is matched up just right. I like that coloring on the tip...tea...I'll have to give that a try.
