Frenchman, thats a great measure!  Sometimes one has the ability to look at an odd piece of antler, horn or wood and uses the imagination juices to 'see' what the particular piece can be.  It's apparently you are one of the chosen.   Some of us have to 'learn' to see beyond what the fact is before us and then some of us haven't yet learned.  My congratulations on great 'visionary'.

 I do love the smoothness of polish bone.Thanks for the compliment but is should go to these two guy's.
This may sound silly but after reading T.C Albert's recreating the 18Th century hunting pouch and is article in Muzzleloader and Ray Ferree Rawhide  ball bags  i started thinking about that time period and what they would  use for every day  and how limeted they were equiped .
We as modern man do like to complicate things sometimes.
I always try to keep it simple.
