A few Bags
« on: April 26, 2019, 10:59:52 PM »
Got my herringbone hemp bag done that was made under heavy tutelage by Bill Smith. Its on the right. Leather pockets,..hand forged buckels,..leather strap,..and wax linen thread with cross stitching. Bill sent the one on the left home to my daughter as a gift. It's a Tennessee style patterned after an original made from buffalo leather with a pewter button. Details are same as mine. It was a good day.

Nice looking bags, well done. Now you need to get a couple horns going.

Nice work!  I really like that hemp material...where did you find it?

Yes all material came from Bill's shop,...as far as how much more he has or where he got it I'm not sure. I know at the moment this is about the last of what he had on the herringbone hemp. I'll be at his shop this coming week,...I'll ask and get beck with you. - Aaron
