Possible Va. Horn

 Another form Jay Hopkins' book; Bone Tipped & Banded horns pg 244-45.
 It is about 11" around the outside curve, tip-to-tip it is about 9 1/2. The Walnut base is about 2 1/4", held in place by Six wooden pegs, it is hollowed out about 3/4s its length, with a sptale for the strap. The tip is horn, threaded 5/8-11, the Collar is Antler and is held in place by the tip. Color is just some old dye and Brown shoe polish.

Nice horn Tim. I like the treatment of the butt area on this horn. Simple and hides any thickness issues in this area.
