Smylee, thanks for the compliment. I agree it is contemporary with a lot of imagination. I have studied the grain from the butt through the lock area and to be honest, I can't determine a solid pattern or direction. It changes quickly and I can not even determine which cut of wood it is. To say it is tough/solid would be an understatement also.
Alright Dale, be nice. You know the flint goes inside the hammer cup. It did go fairly quick. Hunting season is less than two weeks away and I did not want anything to interfere with that.
