Hey everybody.
I scored a Siler Style pistol lock in a trade. It is stamped CS on the inside. Any idea on who made it? CS are my initials but I have never made a lock so that rules me out.

That is Bud Siler's initials. I had a problem with a small Siler lock that I bought from Chambers. When I called about it, Barbie asked if there were any initials on the inside. When I told her it had CS she told that it was in fact assembled for them by Bud Siler. Didn't think to ask her what the C stood for.

C.E. Siler may have been Carl,don't remember. Not even sure that I ever knew his first name.

I think you meant Chet Shoults from LaPeer Michigan and this is not his lock.
