Crazy European pistol!
« on: December 31, 2020, 08:33:37 PM »
I just received this pistol I purchased in the recent Poulin auction. I must say that this is the most interesting gun I've examined in quite a while.  I feel that it is certainly European but the finial on the trigger guard almost looks like an American Indian!  Other carvings almost look Aztec to me.  Take a look.

Art is not an object.  It is the excitement inspired by the object.

Very cool!

The grip cap looks like me after a meal at a so called high end eatery recently. ;D

That is crazy, I don't know which is the most scary the face on the tang carving or the one on the grip cap.  Might of been used to kill evil spirits, with special balls.    Definitely a unique piece.
