original jaeger barrel

I bought an original jaeger barrel sight unseen. I enjoy studying the original stuff. It is 28 and 5/8” long, 1 and 1/8” at the breech, .915 at the waist and .987 at the muzzle. It had been drilled and tapped for a drum. The breech threads are about .715 (top to top). It has 8 lands and grooves and is about .600 caliber and the rifling grooves are about .624, though everything is a little rough in there! It has a fast twist, probably one turn in the length. It has 3 tenons, a front sight and a long, 1” dovetail for a rear sight. Thought you might enjoy seeing it so I took some pix quickly last night- they are a little rough as I didn’t have a tripod.
I have no immediate plans but it’s a nice barrel and I enjoy seeing the workmanship. I am going to be freshing out another barrel and I may do this one also.
