I've got a FCI .38-3/4" straight by 41" with breech (2 1/2" tang). Just weighed it at 3.95 pounds....if that helps.
Flintlock is the only truly reliable source of ignition in a muzzle loader.

The .36 flintlock I've had for years is only 38" with a 3/4" barrel and is delightful.  The rifles weight (total) is 6 lbs 4 oz, if that helps.

I add 3-3.5 pounds to barrel weight to figure gun weight. It could be more if you have heavy castings.

The 3/4 .36 caliber by 42” barrel I built into my late Cumberland county “ tooth pick” rifle. Is super light. The total weight of the rifle is under 7 lbs. with a cast brass guard and but plate. Super skinny gun hence the name “toothpick”. Allen Marten kind a dubbed it with this name a long time ago. Hope this helps. BJH
