Paul, the rifle turned out great!  Nice work on the carving and engraving.  The patchbox really tune out good as well.

Surely is some beautifully figured wood.  Stain went right where it was supposed to and rendered something heavenly.  Very nice inlays with a job well done. 👍🇺🇸😁

Really nice. Colour and finish compliment each other & look about perfect for that design.
That looks like a very pleasant shooting rifle, too.

Not perfect?  Well, close enough.  Hmmm...Christmas is coming up soon and that beauty would make a nice present!  Hint, hint, hint...

You are to be applauded for such a lovely rifle.  It's a nice addition to your stable.
A couple of things if I may:  I would have moved the trigger guard forward about 3/4", putting the triggers in the back half of the bow.  Yours isn't wrong:  I've seen originals like that, but just a matter of taste I suppose.  Also, I'd have inlet the guard's returns just a little more to make them flush with the stock.
Your use of stain certainly made the figure pop...looks wonderful.
