I saw Tom Curran selling one of these a couple days ago. I want one or two. How does one find these locks?

No problemo. I have recently learned how to rig elections. Most people refer to me as toxic already, don't matter what I'm eating off of. Sounds like I have all the requirements.

The last time I was in Tip's shop he was real high on M&G locks, down on all the rest and very vocal about it, perhaps M&G makes it.

I think Larry at M&G shop makes French locks for fusils. The only Dutch locks available i know of are from TRS.

I looked into that lock quite a few years back and IIRC Tip was getting them from Pete Allen.

In my search for a "Becky" frizzen spring, both Ryan at MBS and a nice lady at The Log Cabin Shop which bought R.E. Davis Co. told me that because Pete Allen's age, the business was closed with no definite plans to re-open.

Pete Allan had/has a number of useful casting patterns that apparently - after he either retired or shut down his business - he will not sell. I don't know him but that's what I was told by the folks up at Track. They used to stock 'reconversion' parts from Peter Allan; there were two different sizes of cocks, frizzens and pans. They were VERY useful castings, well made, but now nobody can get them and I've used up almost all of what I had left. I particularly miss the frizzens.

I have heard some of my locks have been sold at a good price but the chances of restarting after 3 years of not making them is about zero.
For too many years BPH has been a problem and I started taking Finasteride and one of the side effects for me has been spasms in my lower back.I no longer have to get up and "go" 3 or 4 times a night but standing at a bench and working for any period of time is no longer a part of my day. I hope to finish out the material I have for triggers and then,game over.
