I'm glad you asked if we're tired of seeing this because it made me look at your post history so I could find out what I've missed!

Can you restore that stock to firing shape with a full break that bad or will you need to replace a section of the stock? Can't wait to see what you come up with. Any idea what your plan is yet?

NO thing boring about any of your posts and the time you take to do these jobs and then post while you do it is well worth watching and we respect your efforts to restore antique arms we would never be aware of without these pictures.Keep it up,we are always waiting and they are always interesting.

The stock is then glued with Brownells bedding wery nice and can be building , the next is new wood with lockpanel.

So how bad is the process for lining up those stock sections and getting pressure that pulls them together? Do they tend to flex in to the side on which the board they're also strapped to is placed?

Runar, that Acraglass is great stuff, should make a fine repair!  This looks like a fun project.  Carry on!

Runar, I think that next, you are going to start making your own steel and brass.  Heck, you make everything else!

Runar,

I always look forward to your repair stories (sagas?) on this forum!  I learn things from watching you and as a person who spent many years fixing wrecked cars, I can appreciate the skill and thought you put into a repair.  Thank you for sharing your projects!

Excellent Runar!  Thanks for showing us firearms from another part of the world that I, for one, am not too familiar with. What an education you provide!
