William Beals Rifle
« on: August 06, 2022, 07:43:52 PM »
Hello! I was building my family tree and my 4th great grandfather is William N. Beals from my mothers side of the family. I found this photo. Is there anyone here that current owns one of his rifles or know where this display is at in the photo? I’d love to see one in person one day or even purchase. Maybe there’s a long lost connected family member in here as well? Thanks so much!

Hey Albert, Any chance to see some pictures of your WB rifle?  Would love to see them and I would think that the OP would like to see them as well.

Check it out... Civil War era (appears to be closer to 1850), Caplock .32 cal youth squirrel rifle made by Wm Beals of Erwin, TN.

Here’s the link to mine. It’s in the ALR library.

I think Brain Barker had an original William Beals rifle at one time.
