Lock Repair, Cracked Frizzen

I have this R&R lock that needs a new frizzen, or get this one repaired. You can see where the crack is

I had information on a guy who does lock repairs, but cannot find it

 I fixed a similar problem by silver soldering a piece of bronze rod in the hole and then boring it out to fit the bolt. Mine was wallowed out a bit. So I overbored it some and used a larger diameter rod.
 The greatest thing about this fix is the bronze acts as a bushing, and because it doesn’t rust its not as likely to seize to the bolt.

I'll second Brad Emig. He fixed a truly terrible lock for me.

Unless it's just the pic,,the support for the frizzen on the pan is bent way over. The lock can be seen off to the right in the pic.

I'd fix that problem first. Do whatever alterations necessary to allow the frizzen to have ample support metal around the pivot screw hole.

Then cut the old broken axle support area off of the frizzen.
Clean up the cut off area, square it up, fit in and braze on a new piece of steel.
Wide and large enough to make a clean, square supporting surface with the plate and pan.
Then drill a new frizzen screw hole.

I would put a new frizzen on it. If you can't do it send it
to someone to repair it properly.
