As an aside, it is interesting to note that RIA did not mention the replaced top jaw and jaw screw that was stated in the Conestoga Auction ... I guess description writers choose what they wish to include

I didn't notice that either. Could be french parts.

They are not "french parts" but Repro parts readily available in the U.S. for many years.

O.k., letīs say, they are "french-style" ;). If repro or not, I canīt say for sure at the available pics. But hey.... it is a nice US-Musket.
