I cant let Acer be top score on the number of posts so I am going to start questions here first then to the other site.
Do any of you guys know if the English dragoon trigger guard is the same as the Sea service pistol. The late sea service trigger guard (1790's) is the one I have interest in. A comment made by a fellow known as Rarebeafeater on E-bay sells them from time to time at auction and made the statement " The English dragoon trigger guard is the Same trigger guard as the sea service just one screw hole that isnt on the sea service." The hole was just behind the trigger bow. The sea service guard has no screws, its all pinned. I am collecting parts to restore an old lock and barrel to respectable condition.
