Would like to know if anyone knows what this touch mark represents. It is on a Damascus barreled SxS shotgun. Only marks on this gun. It belongs to an older friend that is even more technologically incompetent than myself,

It looks like an "F" with some parts broken off the stamp to me.
I don't know if that helps or if I am just being Captain Obvious. If the latter, it is unintentional, and I apologize.
