New Forged File Knife

I finished this knife yesterday and thought I would share.  It is made from an old file that I found while metal detecting an early homesite.  It is 9-1/2” long and has a 5” blade with a deer tine handle and pewter bolster.  Thank you for looking!!

That’s a good looking knife and a good size and shape for big game. Nicely done.

That is a good size for big game. I like a blade 5" to 6" long for moose and elk.
