Some Berks County sideplates
« on: April 16, 2023, 01:26:50 AM »
Someone asked about the "fence" seen on sideplates from Reading/Berks County rifles - here are a few. Seems to have started with the 1770+ rifles we attribute to Haga (it is Haga -not Hachen)

A nice comparison of side plates. Is there any way these could be placed chronologically for help in dating Reading rifles?
