Bill Estes Hawken

I recently picked this up on GB. Can't find much information about the builder except that he worked at GRRW in the early 70's. It has a 7 groove barrel 33" long .45 caliber. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

I worked with Bill at GRRW in the early 1970's.
The last contact I had with him was when I visited him in Sturgis, Kentucky.
