Great Longrifle by David Kennedy made for C. Carney
« on: May 29, 2023, 09:21:39 PM »
An old friend who was a longtime KRA member was placed an a assisted living center 17 months ago has requested I sell his outstanding collection of Longrifles for him. The purchase details will be provided on the guns for sale section of this forum.

I thought I would provide photos and information on these wonderful Longrifles in this collection.

This first rifle was made by David Kennedy who worked in the Bear Creek School in Moore County, North Carolina.  This rifle features a silver edelweiss patchbox finial, with Kennedy upper and lower side-plates. The lock side-plate is Kennedy as is the stock architecture. The rifle was made for C. Carney, and his name is engraved on the barrel. This is a very desirable Kennedy rifle.

I hope you enjoy looking at this. Additional information can be found in the for sale section.
